No More 'No CD' Patches

Date September 19th, 2005

If you’ve ever *cough* purchased *cough* a game, and been pissed off that it requires the CD to be in the drive when playing, meaning digging out that CD every time you want to play the damn thing, then you’ll probably be quite familiar with sites such as GameCopyWorld, and ‘No CD’ patches.
The only problem with these kinds of sites is that you’ve got to wait for groups or individuals to release patches when new versions of the game come out.
Not any more!
I’ve discovered an application called GameJack.
It has a loader that detects what kind of CD protection the executable requires and emulates it.
