I’ve finally managed to get some time to write this post about our holiday to Prague. I’ve put up some of the photos we took in this gallery. Prague is a beautiful, but strange city. It seems that the closer to the centre you get, the farther back in time everything appears. Right in the center, all of the buildings are all around the 12th or 13th century, and heading outwards to the suburbs which still retain their Cold War communist charm. On every street outwith the touristy areas, there is grafitti, and in the touristy areas, every street has the same shops; a change kiosk proudly stating their 0% commission and exhange rates into various currencies, a Czech art glass shop and a souvenir shop selling stereotypical “Russian” hats with the hammer and sickle emblem, Czech tankards and those wooden dolls which contain smaller versions of themselves.
My $0.02; all in all, a very nice place to visit, but you wouldn’t want to stay there, yet.

Did you visit the bone church, Kostnice. I did not sleep for a few days after that!
